Jaclyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with a Master of Science in Art Therapy and Counseling from Mount Mary University. She works from a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, focusing on building a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives. She uses non-judgmental, compassionate language to meet clients where they are and help them explore how current challenges are impacting their well-being in the here-and-now.
Jaclyn enjoys working with a range of age groups, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She is passionate about supporting clients who are seeking to explore and heal in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, motivation and change, and trauma. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a significant life change, her goal is to help you find clarity, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths and values. In addition to talk therapy, she offers art therapy as an integrative, creative option for those interested in exploring therapeutic goals through visual expression. Art therapy can be especially helpful for clients who feel “stuck” in traditional talk therapy or who want to engage with their emotions through a creative process that supports the formation of new neural connections and deeper emotional insight.
Jaclyn offers both in-person sessions and telehealth to provide flexible support that fits your needs and comfort level. If you are considering therapy, she welcomes you to reach out to schedule an initial appointment. Together, you can begin the process of identifying your goals and working toward meaningful, lasting change in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Jaclyn is now accepting new clients at our Downers Grove location: Grove Counseling Center 5202 Washington St Suite 1 Downers Grove, IL 60515.
